Reached by ropeway from the shores of Lake Ashi, this 1,357-meter volcanic peak offers panoramic views of Mount Fuji, the Izu Peninsula, and Suruga Bay. The summit is home to the Hakone Mototsumiya, the original mountain-top sanctuary of the Hakone Shrine.
