Walk through the heart of Naples, from the cathedral where the blood of San Gennaro is kept to the grand square in front of the Royal Palace. Along the way you hear the stories behind the historic centre's best-known sights: the nativity craftsmen of San Gregorio Armeno, the Veiled Christ in the Sansevero Chapel, the majolica cloister of Santa Chiara, the Lamentation in Sant'Anna dei Lombardi, the Fountain of Neptune, the Angevin fortress of Castel Nuovo, the Galleria Umberto I, the San Carlo opera house and Piazza del Plebiscito. The route starts at the Cathedral on Via Duomo, about a 12-minute walk from Piazza Cavour.
