Best of Oslo

A walk through the signature sights of Oslo, from the waterfront to the royal hill. You begin at the Opera House beside the central station, pass Oslo Cathedral and the old town square of Christiania torv, then cross to Akershus Fortress and continue to City Hall, the National Museum and the Royal Palace. The walk ends on Karl Johans gate, the city's main street, at the Norwegian Parliament. Along the way you hear how a small harbour town became Norway's capital and how the city reclaimed its shoreline.
