Sochi’s green spaces range from the 19th-century Riviera Park and the subtropical collections of the Arboretum to the Stalinist Empire architecture of the Ordzhonokidze Sanatorium. The region also hosts modern legacy sites like the 2014 Olympic Park and the folklore-themed Sochi Park. Natural attractions include the Mendeliha waterfalls on the Aibga Ridge and the high-altitude Skypark over the Akhshtyr Gorge. For recreation, the area features coastal water parks in Loo and Lazarevskoye alongside mountain-view pools at the Galaktika center.
