Swedish Churches & Worship Sites

This collection features significant Swedish religious landmarks, ranging from the 12th-century foundations of Växjö Cathedral to the 20th-century National Romantic architecture of Gothenburg's Masthugg Church. The list highlights diverse ecclesiastical styles, including the neo-Gothic Luleå Cathedral and the red-brick St. John's Church in Stockholm. These sites serve as historical anchors, housing unique artifacts like the Levene runestone and medieval wall paintings, reflecting the evolution of the Church of Sweden across both urban centers and rural parishes.
