Parks, Gardens & Viewpoints

Wassenaar’s green spaces range from the historic Clingendael estate, featuring its rare Japanese Garden, to the extensive coastal dune landscapes of Meijendel. This collection highlights several high-altitude viewpoints like Seringenberg and Meijendelse Berg, which offer vistas over the North Sea and inland forests. The list includes specialized bird-watching hides, traditional 18th-century tea domes, and preserved wooded estates like Landgoed Oosterbeek and Duindigt, which reflect the region's heritage of manor houses and formal landscaping.
