Brisbane Essentials

Brisbane’s cultural landscape is defined by a mix of heritage sites and modern creative hubs. This collection features the convict-built Commissariat Store and the heritage-listed City Botanic Gardens alongside the contemporary Gallery of Modern Art (GOMA) in South Bank. Visitors can explore Queensland’s natural history at the Queensland Museum, maritime heritage by the river, or astronomical displays at the Sir Thomas Brisbane Planetarium. The list also highlights repurposed industrial architecture at the Brisbane Powerhouse and the social history exhibits housed within the Museum of Brisbane.
