Dead Sea Must-Sees

The Dead Sea region, the lowest point on Earth, encompasses hypersaline waters and significant historical landmarks across Israel and Jordan. This area includes the ancient Masada fortress, the biblical Mount Nebo, and the Qumran Caves, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. Natural features range from the lush Ein Gedi oasis and Ma'in hot springs to the deep sandstone canyons of Wadi Mujib. The Mar Saba Monastery represents one of the oldest continuously inhabited monastic communities in the world.
