Temples and Religious Sites

Denpasar’s spiritual landscape reflects Bali's multi-faith heritage, ranging from the 14th-century Maospahit Temple with its ancient brick architecture to the 16th-century Pemecutan Palace. The city preserves the island’s oldest written history at Blanjong Temple and hosts significant pilgrimage sites like Sakenan Temple on Serangan Island. This collection also includes modern places of worship such as the Holy Spirit Cathedral, the Buddhist Maha Vihara, and several prominent mosques and Christian churches.
