Historic Sites of the Algarve

The Algarve's history is etched into its landscape, from the Neolithic burial mounds of Alcalar to the Roman mosaics of Milreu. This collection highlights the region's strategic importance, featuring the red sandstone Moorish castle of Silves and the maritime fortress of Sagres, once known as the 'End of the World.'
