Haifa Essentials

Haifa spans the slopes of Mount Carmel, featuring the UNESCO-listed Bahá'í Gardens and its nineteen terraced levels. The city's maritime history is preserved at the Clandestine Immigration and Naval Museum, while the Stella Maris Monastery and Elijah's Cave highlight its significance to multiple faiths. Visitors can ride the cable car from Bat Galim Beach to the mountain summit or explore the modernist architecture and local produce of the historic Talpiot Market.
