Isla Essentials

Senglea and the surrounding Three Cities harbor a deep naval legacy and architectural heritage. This selection features the Basilica of Our Lady of Victories, housing a revered 17th-century statue, and the Malta Maritime Museum, located within the former Royal Naval Bakery. Visitors can cross the Grand Harbour via traditional dgħajsa water taxis or visit the Freedom Day monument, which commemorates the 1979 departure of British forces.
