Konjic marks the transition between Bosnia and Herzegovina, centered on the emerald Neretva River and the rugged Prenj massif. This selection highlights the town’s Cold War legacy at Tito’s secret underground nuclear bunker and its UNESCO-listed woodcarving heritage. Konjic bridges the historical gap between the Middle Ages and the Cold War. This selection highlights the ARK D-0 nuclear bunker, a massive underground facility built for Yugoslavia's leadership, alongside the UNESCO-recognized woodcarving tradition displayed at local museums.
