The Křivoklátsko UNESCO Biosphere Reserve is defined by the deep Berounka River valley and dense forests that served as royal hunting grounds for centuries. This selection features the Gothic Křivoklát Castle and the twin ruins of Točník and Žebrák. Natural highlights include the Koněprusy cave system and the Skryjská jezírka lakes, famous for trilobite fossils. Visitors can also explore traditional rural architecture at Hamousův statek and the glassmaking heritage of the Nižbor factory.
