Málaga’s historical landscape spans from the 1st-century Roman Theatre to the 11th-century Moorish Alcazaba and Gibralfaro Castle. The city's religious heritage is anchored by the grand Renaissance Cathedral and the Church of Santiago, where Picasso was baptized. Architectural evolution is visible in the neo-Moorish Atarazanas Market and the 19th-century English Cemetery. Church of Santiago
This is one of the oldest Christian places of worship in Malaga. Also, Picasso, who lived nearby, was baptized here.
