Cultural Landmarks

Malang’s cultural landscape spans military history, ancient archaeology, and contemporary arts. This collection includes Museum Brawijaya’s colonial-era artifacts and Museum Mpu Purwa’s Singhasari-period statues. Modern creative hubs like the Malang Creative Center contrast with historical monuments such as the Monumen Juang and the MiG-17 aircraft at Monumen Pesawat Terbang. These sites provide a comprehensive overview of the city's transition from a royal seat to a center for Indonesian independence and modern creativity.
