Kathmandu Heritage Highlights

This collection highlights the Kathmandu Valley's most significant religious landmarks, many of which are designated UNESCO World Heritage sites. It includes the vast Pashupatinath temple complex on the Bagmati River and the massive Boudha and Swayambhunath stupas, which serve as central hubs for Tibetan and Newar Buddhism. The list also features historic Hindu architecture, including the ancient hilltop Changu Narayan Temple, the five-tiered Nyatapola Temple in Bhaktapur, and the open-air Budhanilkantha Temple, known for its large reclining statue of Lord Mahavishnu carved from a single stone.
