Scenic Viewpoints
The Dachstein massif features several high-altitude viewing platforms accessible via the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car and the Dachstein Glacier lift. These sites include the 5 Fingers, which extends over a 400-meter drop, and the Stairway to Nothingness, a glass-bottomed platform suspended over the mountain face. The Hoher Krippenstein peak serves as a central hub for hikers at 2,108 meters, while the Skywalk provides views across the UNESCO World Heritage region of Hallstatt-Dachstein/Salzkammergut.

5 Fingers is a free viewing platform in the Dachstein Mountains of Upper Austria, on Mount Krippenstein.
Skywalk
Located at the Hunerkogel mountain station of the Dachstein Glacier cable car at 2,700 meters above sea level. It features a glass floor section extending over a 250-meter vertical rock face.
Krippenstein
A 2,108-meter-high mountain peak on the northern edge of the Dachstein massif. It serves as a hub for hiking and paragliding, accessible via the Dachstein Krippenstein cable car from Obertraun.
Wasserfallwand
A viewpoint situated on the mountain slopes above Obertraun, offering perspectives of the Hallstätter See and the surrounding Salzkammergut landscape.
