Patras Must-Sees

Patras serves as a gateway to the Peloponnese, anchored by the 6th-century Patras Castle and the Roman Odeon, which still hosts performances today. The city’s religious significance is centered at the Basilica of Saint Andrew, while its industrial history is preserved at the 19th-century Achaia Clauss winery. Modern engineering is represented by the Rio-Antirio Bridge, spanning the Gulf of Corinth. Archaeological sites like the Roman Stadium and the New Museum of Patras showcase the city’s evolution from antiquity to the present.
