Waterfalls of Punilla

The Punilla Valley in the Sierras de Córdoba contains a high concentration of waterfalls formed by the region’s rugged granite topography. This selection includes the 115-meter Cascada los Chorrillos in Tanti, one of the tallest in the province, and high-altitude cascades along the Altas Cumbres road. These sites feature deep natural pools, or 'ollas,' carved into the rock by the Mallín and Calabalumba rivers, accessible via hiking trails through native forest and mountain scrub.

Cascada los Chorrillos

A 115-meter waterfall located within a private natural reserve in Tanti. It is accessible via a 7-kilometer hiking trail through the Sierras Chicas.

Cascada Mallín

Located in Bialet Massé, this cascade features a deep natural swimming hole surrounded by granite walls and native vegetation.

A high-altitude waterfall located in the rocky terrain near Tanti, dropping approximately 50 meters into a mountain stream.

Situated near San Esteban, this fall on the Calabalumba River is named after the swallows that frequent the surrounding cliffs.
