Riva del Garda’s steep limestone cliffs offer a concentration of technical via ferratas and sport climbing sectors overlooking the northern shore of Lake Garda. This selection includes the historic Via Ferrata Fausto Susatti leading to Cima Capi and the exposed Smugglers' Path carved into the rock face. Climbers can access the diverse sectors of Falesia Regina del Lago, while hikers reach panoramic viewpoints at Punta Larici and Cima Rocca, the latter featuring a complex network of World War I tunnels and fortifications.

Monte Rocchetta

Monte Rocchetta is a 1,575 m mountain near Lake Garda, close to the city of Riva del Garda in the Trentino province of Italy.

Via ferrata "Fausto Susatti"

This classic via ferrata climbs the steep ridges of Cima Capi. It is characterized by significant exposure and panoramic views over the Sarca Valley, following a route established in 1972.

Sentiero Alpinistico dei Contrabbandieri "Massimiliano Torti"

A historic, highly exposed horizontal ledge path traversing the cliffs between Riva del Garda and Limone. Originally used by smugglers, this technical route requires mountaineering equipment for its narrow, unprotected sections.

Punta Larici

A 907-meter-high rocky outcrop providing views of the Monte Baldo chain and the Limone sul Garda coastline. It is accessible via hiking trails starting from the village of Pregasina.

La Ponta

A limestone peak situated along the ridge between Cima Capi and Cima Rocca, accessible via technical hiking trails and climbing routes overlooking the lake.

Falesia Regina del Lago

A multi-sector limestone climbing crag located above the Ponale road. It features over 60 sport climbing routes ranging from grade 4 to 7c, characterized by technical slabs and vertical walls.

Cima Capi

A 909-meter peak known for its prominent position above Riva del Garda. The summit is the destination for the Susatti via ferrata and offers views of the entire northern lake basin.

Cima Rocca

Rising to 1,090 meters, this peak is notable for its extensive network of World War I trenches, galleries, and tunnels. It is connected to Cima Capi via a technical ridge path.
