Sattahip contains the 500-acre Nong Nooch Tropical Botanical Garden and the 109-meter-tall laser-etched Buddha at Khao Chee Chan. The region serves as a hub for the Royal Thai Navy, housing the flagship aircraft carrier HTMS Chakri Naruebet and protected coastal areas like Nangrong Beach.
