Čajka v oblakoch

A 30-meter high wooden observation tower near Bojnice featuring a spiral walkway and a steel slide. It offers panoramic views of Bojnice Castle and the Upper Nitra Basin.

Haluzická tiesňava

A 1-kilometer long gorge created by the rapid erosion of the Haluzický stream. The ravine is approximately 200 meters wide and 50 meters deep, continuously expanding through local geological activity.

Beckovské hradné bralo

A 60-meter high limestone cliff in the Považský Inovec mountains that serves as the foundation for Beckov Castle. It is a protected natural monument significant for its geological structure.

Veľká Javorina

The highest peak of the White Carpathians at 970 meters, situated on the border between Slovakia and the Czech Republic. It is home to the Holubyho chata mountain hut and a prominent television transmitter.

Hájska skala

A freely accessible 25-meter long cave located in the limestone massif of the Žiar mountain range near Ráztočno. The site offers views of the surrounding Handlovská valley.

Mojtinska cave

A karst cave consisting of two 24-meter long perpendicular corridors. Historically used as a secret church during the late 18th century, it now contains a statue of St. Joseph.

Opatovská jaskyňa

A small cave available to public for free. Inside there are two corridors about 30 and 20 meters long.

Strážov Mountains Protected Landscape Area is one of the 14 protected landscape areas in Slovakia.

Rozhladňa Žalostiná

A 6-meter tall wooden observation tower on Žalostiná hill at an altitude of 622 meters. It provides views of the Myjava Hills, the White Carpathians, and the Little Carpathians.

Jelenec

A 925-meter peak in the White Carpathians featuring a former military telecommunications tower. It serves as an unofficial observation point on the Slovak-Czech border.

Prepoštská jaskyňa

A travertine cave and major Paleolithic site in Bojnice. It functions as the Museum of Prehistory, documenting Neanderthal settlements and prehistoric animal remains found at the location.

Omšenská baba

A distinctive limestone and dolomite peak in the Strážov Mountains. This protected area is known for its rare thermophilous flora and overlooks the Teplička river valley.
