This selection spans the northern coastline of Morocco, highlighting the geographical transition where the Atlantic Ocean meets the Mediterranean Sea. Key sites include the 19th-century lighthouse at Cap Spartel and the Blue Flag-certified Achakar Beach near the Caves of Hercules. In the Al Hoceima region, the list features Playa Quemado, set against limestone cliffs, and Plage Sfiha, which offers views of the offshore Peñón de Alhucemas fortress.
