Scenic Coastline

This coastal stretch in Kerala is defined by the Cenozoic sedimentary cliffs that rise abruptly from the Arabian Sea. The route encompasses Papanasham Beach, known for its natural springs and religious significance, and the quieter stretches of the North and South Cliffs. Further north, the landscape shifts at Kappil, where the Edava-Nadayara Lake meets the sea. The area features diverse geological formations, including rare black sand shores and mineral-rich springs flowing from the cliff faces.
