Xinjiang's museums preserve the complex history of the Silk Road, spanning thousands of years of cultural exchange. Turpan Museum

The second-largest museum in Xinjiang, housing prehistoric fossils, Silk Road ceramics, and well-preserved ancient mummies from the Turpan Basin.
