Archaeological Sites of Anglesey

Anglesey’s landscape preserves over five millennia of history, from the Neolithic burial chambers of Barclodiad y Gawres and Bodowyr to the industrial scale of the Parys Mountain copper mines. This collection features Iron Age hillforts like Bwrdd Arthur, the medieval ruins of Penmon Priory, and the 11th-century motte and bailey of Castell Aberlleiniog.
