Attica’s coastline offers a variety of swimming experiences, from the mineral-rich thermal waters and underwater caves of Lake Vouliagmeni to the sandy shores of Sounion situated beneath the 5th-century BC Temple of Poseidon. On the island of Kythira, Kaladi Beach features distinctive rock formations and clear turquoise waters, while the secluded cove of Kalami provides a quieter alternative. Near Porto Rafti, Erotospelia is a small, sheltered bay known for its natural shade and calm waters.
