Peaks and Viewpoints

Azerbaijan’s vertical landscape spans the Greater and Lesser Caucasus ranges, featuring Mount Bazardüzü, the country's highest point at 4,466 meters. This collection includes the sacred peak of Mount Babadag, a significant pilgrimage site, and the ancient high-altitude village of Khinalug. From the limestone cliffs of Jdrduz overlooking the Dashalti Gorge to the volcanic cones of Tsghuk and the iconic silhouette of Mount Kapaz—whose collapse created Lake Goygol—these sites highlight the region's geological diversity and historic mountain settlements.
