Bad Kleinkirchheim is a spa and ski village in the Nock Mountains of Carinthia. Its thermal springs have been used since Roman times, and two large spas sit in the village today. The Nockberge, a rolling mountain range, forms a biosphere reserve around it.

The village mixes relaxed spa days with skiing in winter and gentle hiking in summer. It is calm and family-friendly.

历史

The thermal springs were used by the Romans, and the village grew around a medieval church. Its name comes from a saint, Kathrein, who gave the second spa its name. Modern tourism and spa development began after World War II, and the Nockberge became a national park in 1987, later a biosphere reserve.
