Historical Sites of Bahrain

Bahrain’s historical landscape is defined by its strategic maritime position and ancient civilizations. This collection features the UNESCO-listed Bahrain Fort, a multi-layered archaeological site, and the 15th-century Arad Fort. Religious heritage is represented by the Khamis Mosque, believed to be the island's oldest, and the Al Fateh Grand Mosque, one of the world's largest.
