Iconic Alpine Huts

This collection features historic mountain refuges across the Dolomites and Carnic Alps, primarily within the province of Belluno and South Tyrol. Situated at altitudes often exceeding 2,000 meters, these huts serve as critical waypoints on the Alta Via 1 and 2 trekking routes. Many, like Rifugio Nuvolau and Capanna Piz Fassa, offer panoramic views from high-altitude summits, while others provide essential access to iconic landmarks like the Tre Cime di Lavaredo and the turquoise Lago di Sorapiss.
