Benešov Must-Sees

Benešov is centered around the Konopiště Chateau, the former residence of Archduke Franz Ferdinand d'Este, known for its extensive park, bear moat, and fallow deer enclosure. The town’s ecclesiastical history is represented by the 13th-century Romanesque-Gothic Church of St. James at Chvojen, the Baroque Church of St. Anne, and the Church of St. Nicholas on Karlov hill.
