Ancient Ruins and Heritage

This collection features the archaeological highlights of Cefalù, spanning from the 9th-century BC megalithic Temple of Diana to the 12th-century Norman Cathedral. The sites are primarily concentrated on La Rocca, a limestone cliff overlooking the town, where visitors can find remains of a medieval citadel, ancient fortifications, and the ruins of the Church of Sant'Anna. These landmarks illustrate the layers of Sicanian, Greek, Byzantine, and Norman history that shaped the region, including the UNESCO-listed mosaics of the Duomo.

Diana Temple
