Celje's Essential Highlights

Celje's historical landscape is defined by the 14th-century Old Castle, the ancestral seat of the powerful Counts of Celje. The city center preserves Roman Celeia through the Regional Museum’s underground exhibits and features the Gothic Celje Cathedral.
