Wat Rong Suea Ten

Wat Huai Pla Kang

This temple complex is known for its massive 90-meter tall white statue of Guan Yin and a nine-story pagoda. The site blends Thai-Lanna and Chinese architectural styles and offers panoramic views of the surrounding countryside.

Wat Phra Kaew

This historic 14th-century temple is the site where the Emerald Buddha was discovered in 1434. It currently houses a jade replica of the famous statue and features a Lanna-style prayer hall with a museum of religious artifacts.

Wat Ming Meuang

One of Chiang Rai's oldest temples, dating back to 1262, it showcases Shan and Lanna architectural influences. It is notable for its intricate wood carvings and for housing the city's original foundation stone.
