Cinque Terre Beaches

Cinque Terre's coastline offers a diverse mix of accessible sandy stretches and remote rocky coves. Monterosso al Mare features the region's largest sandy beach at Fegina, while Riomaggiore and Corniglia provide pebbly shores and secluded spots like the clothing-optional Guvano Beach. Further south toward Portovenere, the rugged Tramonti coastline hides difficult-to-reach stone beaches like Spiaggia del Persico and Caletta di Albana, often requiring steep descents via stone staircases or access by boat.

Spiaggia del Paese

Stony beach located in the marina of Riomaggiore, accessible via a path winding around the cliffside from the boat docking area.

Spiaggia di Fegina

The largest sandy beach in the region, located directly in front of Monterosso al Mare's railway station and featuring the landmark Il Gigante stone sculpture.

Guvano Beach

A secluded, clothing-optional beach situated between Corniglia and Vernazza. Historically accessed via a disused railway tunnel or a steep hiking path.

Spiaggia del Persico

A remote pebble beach in the Tramonti area, reached by descending approximately 2,000 stone steps from the village of Campiglia.

Spiaggia del Cantun

Small rocky cove located along the rugged coastline between Riomaggiore and Portovenere.

Isolated stone beach in the Tramonti region, accessible via steep hiking trails from the ridges above the coastline.
