Iglesia de San Juan Bautista

16th-century Dominican church and former monastery featuring a lavish Baroque interior with ornate gold-leaf altars. It occupies the site of a former Aztec Calmecac.

La Conchita

16th-century chapel with a Plateresque facade, located in Plaza de la Concepción. Legend holds it was commissioned by Hernán Cortés over a pre-Hispanic site.
