Alpine Huts & Shelters

This collection features a range of high-altitude accommodations and emergency shelters across the Davos alpine region. From the serviced Grialetschhütte (SAC) near the glacier to historic transit points like the Scaletta Pass shelter, these locations provide essential refuge for hikers. Many, such as Berggasthaus Dürrboden in the Dischma valley, serve regional Graubünden specialties. The list includes both fully equipped mountain inns and basic weather shelters situated along key trails connecting the Sertig and Dischma valleys.

Berggasthaus Dürrboden

Historic mountain inn at the head of the Dischma valley. It serves as a base for the Scaletta Pass crossing and offers traditional regional cuisine and overnight accommodation.

Grialetschhütte

A Swiss Alpine Club (SAC) hut situated at 2,542 meters between the Dischma and Flüela valleys. It provides a base for high-altitude hiking near the Grialetsch glacier.

Strelapass

Mountain restaurant and lodge located at 2,350 meters on the historic pass connecting the Schanfigg and Landwasser valleys.

Madreuil

Small alpine hut located in the mountains surrounding Davos.

Chörbschhornhütte
