Castles and Manor Houses

Liptovský Ján boasts one of the highest concentrations of aristocratic residences in Slovakia. This collection features 18 historic structures, primarily Renaissance and Baroque manor houses (kaštiele) and smaller curias (kúrie) belonging to the Szentiványi family and other local nobility. The list includes fortified sites like Veratín and Hrádok - Zámčisko, alongside architectural gems showcasing the evolution of noble living from the 16th to the 19th centuries, often situated near the village's thermal springs.
