Historic Landmarks

Dundee’s historic landscape is defined by its engineering feats and religious architecture. This collection includes St Andrew’s Cathedral, a Victorian Catholic church in the West End, and the Tay Bridge, which carries the railway across the Firth of Tay to Fife. The list also highlights the site of the 1879 Tay Bridge disaster and the Wishart Arch, the sole remaining gateway of the city's medieval defensive walls.
