Fuerteventura’s cultural landscape spans from the volcanic Cueva del Llano lava tube to the 18th-century Casa de los Coroneles military residence. This collection features the Ecomuseo La Alcogida’s restored rural houses and the Antigua Windmill Craft Centre. Specialized museums highlight local traditions, including Majorero cheese production, traditional fishing at Tostón Lighthouse, and the island's archaeological history at La Atalayita. Literary heritage is preserved at the house where writer Miguel de Unamuno lived during his exile.

Quite curious old mill that now serves a a museum and a craft centre. You can buy the local products here and check out the exhibit.

The Colonel's House

Used to be the house of the military. The architecture really is unique, same as the place it stands in - the bare desert.

Zona Arqueológica Poblado de La Atalayita

Archaeological site in the Pozo Negro valley featuring "casas hondas" (sunken houses) constructed from volcanic stone by the island's original inhabitants, the Mahos.

Museo del Queso Majorero

Located within the Antigua Windmill complex, this museum explores the history of Majorero goat cheese, detailing traditional production methods and the island's pastoral heritage.

Casa Mane Art Centre

Monumento a Unamuno

A large-scale sculpture of the Spanish writer and philosopher Miguel de Unamuno, situated on the slopes of Mount Quemada near the village of Tefía.

Housed inside the Faro del Tostón lighthouse, this museum showcases the sustainable fishing techniques used by local coastal communities throughout Fuerteventura's history.
