Georgia’s historic landscape spans centuries of military, architectural, and local history. Savannah WWII monument
Located on Savannah's River Street, this memorial features a split bronze globe representing the divided world during the conflict. It honors Chatham County veterans who served in World War II, with names of the fallen inscribed on the surrounding granite walls.
