View Point

The Guernsey Tapestry

Menhir Statue 1800BC

Known as La Gran'mère du Chimquière, this prehistoric standing stone was repurposed in the Roman era into a female figure. It stands at the gateway to St Martin's Parish Church.

Venus Pool

A deep, natural rock pool located on the southern tip of Sark. It is large enough for swimming but is only accessible for two hours on either side of low tide.

A circular hole cut through a cliff face on Sark in the 1860s by Lord of the Manor, William Frederick Collings, providing a framed view of Brecqhou.
