Haarlem Heritage Trail

Haarlem’s historic core features a dense concentration of architectural heritage dating from the Middle Ages through the Dutch Golden Age. This trail connects the Grote Markt’s landmarks, including the 14th-century City Hall and the Renaissance-style Vleeshal, with specialized sites like the Coomans Gildehuis and the Spaarndam Oude Kerk. Beyond the city center, the selection includes industrial and social history markers such as the Haarlemmerhout ice cellar, the aviation-focused Fokker monument, and the gatehouse of the former Huis te Zaanen estate.
