Green Escapes & Gardens

Haifa’s terrain offers a mix of manicured terraces and rugged coastal recreation. This collection includes the UNESCO-listed Baha'i Gardens, spanning 19 terraces on Mount Carmel’s northern slope, and the 1.2-kilometer Hecht Park, which provides dedicated trails along the Mediterranean shore. Historic sites like the 1930s Chiat Orchard showcase traditional stone irrigation systems in the Nahal Siah valley, while Gan HaEm serves as a central green hub in the Carmel district, providing access to the city zoo and local nature trails.
