Ho Chi Minh City's green spaces range from the historic Saigon Zoo and Botanical Gardens, established in 1864, to the sprawling 23/9 Park, a former railway station site near Ben Thanh Market. Tao Dan Park is known for its tropical tree canopy and morning bird-singing gatherings, while the Dam Sen complex in District 11 offers both a traditional amusement park and a dedicated water park with over 30 slides and a wave pool.
