Holon Essentials

Holon, known as Israel’s 'Children’s City,' is a cultural hub featuring specialized institutions and unique urban design. The city is anchored by the Ron Arad-designed Design Museum and the Medithek cultural complex. Throughout the municipality, the 'Story Gardens' project integrates public art with literature, featuring sculptures inspired by Hebrew children’s stories. Other landmarks include the Puppet Theater Center and the pedestrian Gesher HaTannaim bridge, which spans the Ayalon Highway.

Design Museum Holon

Designed by architect Ron Arad, this museum is defined by its iconic sinuous ribbons of weathering steel. It hosts rotating exhibitions focused on international and Israeli industrial, fashion, and textile design.

Gan Sipur

Part of a city-wide project, these public gardens feature large-scale sculptures based on classic Hebrew children's literature, designed to make stories accessible through interactive outdoor art.

Medithek
