Parks & Story Gardens

Holon’s urban landscape is defined by its innovative 'Story Gardens,' a city-wide project where children’s literature is transformed into interactive sculptural environments. Beyond these artistic spaces, the city maintains diverse green areas ranging from the traditional Korean Garden, gifted by the city of Ansan, to historical sites like Pillbox Park, which houses a British Mandate-era fortification. These parks combine recreational facilities with cultural monuments, memorial gardens, and archaeological findings, offering a unique blend of literature, history, and nature.
