Beaches and Nature

The Zadar region encompasses a diverse range of geological landmarks and coastal retreats. This selection features the Cerovačke Caves, known for Ice Age fossils, and the Manita peć cave within Paklenica National Park. Coastal highlights include the sandy shores of Sakarun and Borik, alongside the secluded pebble beach of Mlakarova. Inland, the Zrmanja and Krupa rivers provide dramatic scenery at Berberov buk and Visoki buk waterfalls, while elevated viewpoints at Kamenjak and the Zrmanja Canyon offer panoramas of the Velebit mountains and the Adriatic archipelago.
